Basketbrawl
Basketbrawl
Basketbrawl is a sports video game released for the Atari 7800 in 1990, then for the Atari Lynx in 1992. It is a basketball simulation which allows hitting and fighting with other players. The name is a portmanteau of basketball and brawl. It is similar to the 1989 Midway arcade game Arch Rivals which had the tagline "A basket brawl!" Atari released another sports/fighting combo for the Atari 7800 in 1990 as Ninja Golf. Both were in the final 11 games published by Atari for that system in 1990-91 before dropping support.

Atomic Robo-Kid
Atomic Robo-Kid
Atomic Robo-Kid is a horizontally scrolling shooter released in arcades by UPL. The player controls the titular character through six stages of increasing difficulty, facing an alien "governor" boss (which are so large as to be considered levels in and of themselves, as some of the bosses take up several screens) at the end of each level, followed by a "duel" level against other Robo-Kid sized robots. Many levels branch into others, giving the player the choice over which zone to enter next, increasing replayability.

Battlemaster
Battlemaster
"Battlemaster is a fanatsy aracde adventure set in a world of myth and feudal strife. The land is in decay: isolated villages, towns and castles are divided by areas of chaotic monster-infested wilderness. Your task is to restore order by conquering the four kingdoms and handing their crowns to the Watcher who inhabits the Tower." The player decides which race they want to play (Human, Orc, Dwarf or Elf) each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It is then a matter of clearing out areas of opponents and finding items to enhance your character's and companions abilities. There are many traps to avoid and death is a constant in what most people would find a very tough game. Gameplay for leader is action-oriented, with a menu that allows to Parley/Travel/Rally Troops, change formations or use items. The leader attacks with Melee and Projectile buttons. Some classes are more reliant on teammates than others. "Parley" allows you to buy (but not sell) items, or buy a Safe Pass (skip the area)

Black Lamp
Black Lamp
Black Lamp. Capture it... and the hand of a princess. No joke. Jolly Jack the Jester wants more from his boss (the King) than a few good laughs. He wants his daughter's hand in marriage. The King, of course, thinks Jack is truly jesting. But what the hey. If Jack can rid the Kingdom of a plague of evil beasties, Jack can have her. If he can't, Jack dies. Black Lamp is wonderful, witty, once-upon-a-time tale that has earned rave reviews for its graphics, sound and superb quality. This medieval melodrama pits the hero, Jolly Jack, against a host of animated animals and characters including skull-dropping buzzards, evil eagles and spitting witches to confront the fire-breathing angry dragon for the enchanted Black Lamp. Does Jack have something more than a few bad jokes up his sleeve? Is the King's sorcerer the source of surprises? Will Jack and Princess Grizelda live happily ever after? Play Black Lamp and find out! Extraordinary animation, detailed backdrops and excellent animation makes Black Lamp a winner! Exciting multi-level play. Fast arcade action and multi levels provide hours and hours of addictive gameplay. Appealing hero. Romance, action and adventure surround this very likeable hero!.

HardBall!
HardBall!
Play is controlled with a joystick or arrow keys and an action button. One of the four cardinal directions is used to choose the pitch, and again to aim it towards low, high, inside (towards batter), or outside (away from batter). The same directions are used to aim the swing when batting. When fielding after a hit, the defensive player closest to the ball will flash to show it is the one currently under control. The four directions are then used to throw to one of the four bases. The game incorporates a pitcher perspective, often used in MLB broadcasts. There are also managerial options available. The player has a selection of pitchers to choose from. Each team member has his own statistics that affect his performance, and can be rearranged as desired. Prior to HardBall!s release, there were managerial baseball games available, such as Micro League Baseball but HardBall! was the first to integrate that aspect with the arcade control of the game action itself.
