Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter is the third release of the X-Wing computer game series. The player has the ability to choose for each mission which squadron he or she wants to fly in (e.g. either the Y-wings that disable a ship for capture or the X-wings that support them), his or her specific ship type, and the ship's armaments.

The Stetchkov Syndicate expansion adds seven new single player missions revolving around the Stetchkov family, an Eastern European crime syndicate and new multiplayer content, amongst other features. In addition to the seven new maps, The Stetchkov Syndicate also adds a variety of single player and multiplayer features. This includes new weaponry and equipment, the ability to punch uncooperative characters, and a command which allows the element to clear a room from two different entryways simultaneously. New multiplayer content includes a capture the flag style game mode, VoIP capability and 10 player cooperative games, amongst other content.

Covert Operations is an add-on for Command & Conquer which features 15 new missions, new music tracks, and multiplayer maps. Unlike the original game, the missions of Covert Operations can be played at any time and in any order, and are not accompanied by mission briefing cut-scenes. It added two new units to the game, and the new missions are more difficult than those of the original. The add-on pack features the DOS version's soundtrack, which includes music that was absent from the Windows 95 (or Gold Edition) version. Covert Operations was originally needed to unlock secret missions, which were later enabled by a patch to the main game.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a first-person shooter video game developed by Splash Damage and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The prequel to Quake II, Quake Wars is set in the same science fiction universe as Quake II and Quake 4, with a minimal back-story serving as a prequel to Quake II. It is the second multiplayer-focused game in the Quake series after Quake III Arena. Quake Wars features similar gameplay to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but with the addition of controllable vehicles and aircraft as well as multiple AI deployables, asymmetric teams, much larger maps and the option of computer-controlled bot opponents. Unlike the previous Enemy Territory games, Quake Wars is a commercial release rather than a free download. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars received mostly positive reviews upon release, although it received some criticism on consoles.

Ground Control is set in the 25th century. Mankind emerged from the devastation of the Third World War (known in the game as "The Sixteen-minutes War", which almost wiped out the whole of humanity) and managed to colonize several planets across the galaxy. In the beginning of the game, the player assumes the role of Major Sarah Parker of the Crayven Corporation as she leads the Crayven forces in order to eliminate the presence of the "Dawnies" (her derogatory nickname in reference to followers of the Order). In the second campaign, the player assumes control of Deacon Jarred Stone in his attempt to drive the "Crays" from the surface of Krig 7-B. During the course of the campaign, however, both characters unravel a dark secret hidden within the depths of the planet, a secret that threatens all mankind, and turns out to be the reason for such interest in what seems to be a desolate fringe world.

The game notably includes more interactive goalies (i.e. players can have real contact with the goalies and vice versa, and the goalies and skaters may fight each other), better physics engine, improved Be a Pro mode, and the ability to play the 2011 NHL Winter Classic. Like NHL 11, Gary Thorne (play-by-play) and Bill Clement (color) provide commentary for NHL 12.

The game was published by Absolute Entertainment in North America and Europe and by Jaleco in Japan. A Boy and His Blob follows an unnamed, male protagonist and his shapeshifting blob friend on their adventure to save the planet of Blobolonia from the clutches of an evil emperor.
